How long does deodorant last?
1 September 2026 · 3 min read

Short answer
A 150 ml deodorant spray used once a day usually lasts around four to six weeks; roll-ons and sticks often stretch to eight or ten weeks.
Deodorant is bought on autopilot and runs out at the worst possible moment. Knowing the realistic lifespan of a can makes it easy to plan.
Typical lifespans
- 150 ml spray, once daily: roughly four to six weeks.
- 50 ml roll-on, once daily: roughly eight to ten weeks.
- Stick deodorant, once daily: roughly eight to twelve weeks.
What shortens the interval
- Applying twice a day, for example before training.
- Long spray bursts rather than a short, close pass.
- Hot climates and physically demanding work.
- Sharing the can with someone else in the household.
Shelf life is not the same as usage life
Unopened deodorant generally keeps for years. The number that matters day to day is how long a can lasts once you start using it, and that is driven almost entirely by how often and how heavily you apply it.
The restoqed. approach
Rather than a fixed schedule that ignores how you actually use a product, restoqed. is designed to estimate your personal cycle and refine it over time, so a replacement arrives before the can is empty.
restoqed. is designed to handle this for you: set your routine once and your essentials are planned to arrive before they run out.
