Why we started restoqed.: never run out of your everyday essentials

Short answer

We started restoqed. because everyday essentials run out in predictable cycles, so restoqed. predicts consumption per product and plans each restock instead of leaving you to reorder again and again.

Running out of deodorant is not a big problem. Neither is realizing you need new razor blades, shaving cream or toothpaste. But it is annoying. And the strange thing is that the same thing keeps happening over and over again.

You finish your deodorant. You buy another one. A few weeks later, it is empty again. Your razor blades become dull, your electric toothbrush head needs replacing, your shampoo runs out or you squeeze the last bit of face wash from the bottle.

Then you do what you always do: go to the same shop, visit the same webshop or add the same products to another online order.

None of these things take much time individually. But over the course of a year, we repeatedly spend time thinking about, buying and replacing products that we already know we are going to need again.

That frustration is where the idea for restoqed. started.

Everyday essentials are surprisingly predictable

Think about the products in your bathroom.

Deodorant. Razor blades. Shaving cream. Toothpaste. Electric toothbrush heads. Shampoo. Hair styling products. Face wash. Moisturiser.

You do not buy most of these products once. You use them continuously.

A deodorant might last several weeks. Razor blades need replacing depending on how often you shave. An electric toothbrush head is generally replaced every few months. Shampoo, shaving cream and skincare products all have their own usage cycles.

The exact timing differs from person to person, but the underlying behaviour is remarkably repetitive:

Buy, use, run out, buy again.

And that raised a simple question for us:

If we already know these products are going to run out, why should you have to remember to order them again every single time?

That is the problem restoqed. is designed to solve.

What is restoqed.?

restoqed. is an AI-powered subscription service for men's everyday essentials.

Instead of waiting until something is almost empty and placing another order, you build your personal routine once.

You select the everyday products you regularly use. That could include your deodorant, razor blades, shaving cream, toothpaste, electric toothbrush heads, shampoo, hair products, face care and other personal-care essentials.

From there, restoqed. takes over the repetitive part.

Our system predicts when individual products are likely to run out and uses that information to plan when they need to be restocked.

The goal is simple:

Set your routine once. Never run out of stock.

Why restoqed. is different from a normal subscription

Subscriptions for personal-care products are not new.

The problem is that a traditional subscription often works on a fixed schedule. You might choose to receive a product every four, six or eight weeks.

But your bathroom does not work on one fixed schedule.

Your deodorant might run out after five weeks while your razor blades last seven weeks. Your hair product could last nine weeks and your electric toothbrush head might not need replacing for three months.

Sending everything every month would therefore make little sense.

You could end up with too much of one product and not enough of another.

restoqed. approaches the problem differently.

Every product in your routine has its own consumption cycle.

Instead of asking you to manage all those schedules yourself, restoqed. uses AI to predict when each individual product is likely to need replacing.

That means the system is built around your products and your usage, rather than forcing every product into the same delivery schedule.

How does restoqed. use AI?

When you first add a product, restoqed. needs a starting point.

The system creates an initial consumption prediction based on information about the product and its expected usage. That prediction determines approximately when you are likely to need your next one.

But that is only the beginning.

As you use restoqed., the system learns more about your actual consumption.

Maybe you use deodorant faster than initially predicted. Perhaps your shaving cream lasts much longer. You might delay a delivery because you still have plenty left, or need another product sooner than expected.

Those signals provide information about your real usage.

Over multiple cycles, restoqed. can use that information to improve future predictions.

In simple terms:

the longer you use restoqed., the better restoqed. can understand when you are likely to need each product.

That is where AI becomes useful to us. Not because we want to put the word “AI” on a subscription, but because prediction can remove a repetitive task from everyday life.

You should not have to change the products you already use

Another important part of the idea behind restoqed. is choice.

We did not want to create another men's grooming brand that asks customers to replace all of their existing products with one private-label range.

If you already have a deodorant you like, why change it?

If you have used the same razor blades for years, why should joining a subscription mean switching to another brand?

restoqed. is being built around established A-brands and the products men already know and use.

The platform itself does not manufacture deodorant, razor blades or skincare products.

Instead, the idea is to bring your recurring essentials together in one personal routine and make buying them repeatedly much easier.

Your products. Your brands. One routine.

From remembering to restocking

The bigger idea behind restoqed. is not really about deodorant or razor blades.

It is about changing the way we buy predictable, repeat-use products.

Traditional e-commerce still puts most of the responsibility on the customer.

You notice something is running low. You search for it. You add it to your basket. You check out. A few weeks or months later, you repeat the process.

For products you buy again and again, we think there is a smarter model.

Once restoqed. understands what you use and increasingly understands how quickly you use it, the customer should not have to initiate every purchase again.

The system should anticipate the need.

That is the shift we want to make:

from manually reordering products to intelligent restocking.

And because life is not perfectly predictable, you stay in control. Products can be added, replaced, skipped, delayed or removed. Your routine can change whenever your real routine changes.

Automation should remove work, not remove control.

Why we believe this can become more accurate over time

No system can know exactly how quickly a brand-new customer will finish every product on day one.

That is why restoqed. starts with a prediction.

The interesting part comes afterwards.

Every completed product cycle gives us more information. If a predicted six-week cycle repeatedly turns out to be closer to seven weeks for a particular customer, future restocks can adjust accordingly.

Over time, a generic prediction can therefore become increasingly personal.

That is ultimately what we want restoqed. to become:

a personal restocking system that understands your everyday essentials well enough that you rarely have to think about buying them again.

A small frustration, repeated forever

Running out of shaving cream will never be one of life's biggest problems.

But that is almost the point.

There are thousands of small repetitive tasks we accept simply because that is how we have always done them.

Buying the same bathroom essentials again and again is one of them.

We think technology can make that process much simpler.

Choose the products you already use. Set up your routine once. Let restoqed. learn from your consumption. Adjust something whenever you want.

And let us take care of the repetitive part.

Subscribe. Relax. Restock.

Frequently asked questions

What is restoqed.?

restoqed. is an AI-powered subscription service for men's everyday essentials. Customers build a routine with the personal-care products they regularly use, and restoqed. predicts when individual products are likely to run out so future restocks can be planned automatically.

How does restoqed. work?

You choose the everyday essentials you regularly use and add them to your personal routine. Each product receives its own predicted replenishment cycle. restoqed. then learns from your actual usage over time to improve future restock predictions.

What products can I use with restoqed.?

restoqed. focuses on recurring men's personal-care essentials such as deodorant, razor blades, shaving cream, toothpaste, electric toothbrush heads, shampoo, hair products, face wash, moisturiser and other products that need regular replacement.

How does restoqed. use AI?

restoqed. uses AI to predict product consumption and restock timing. Products begin with an initial consumption prediction. As more information about a customer's actual usage becomes available, future predictions can become more accurate.

Is restoqed. a men's grooming brand?

No. restoqed. does not manufacture its own personal-care products and is not a private-label grooming brand. The platform is designed around established A-brands and the products customers already know and use.

Is restoqed. already available?

restoqed. is currently being prepared for launch. Subscriptions, payments and automated deliveries are not yet available, but customers can join the waitlist to be among the first to know when the service launches.

restoqed. is designed to handle this for you: set your routine once and your essentials are planned to arrive before they run out.
